BTS 5770 has very high sugar content is key to maximising potential returns on yield, especially in challenging field conditions and soil types.
It has one of the best disease resistance packages available – Rust (8.1) and Powdery Mildew (5.2), demonstrated in its high untreated yield performance of 104.9%. Limited European Betaseed data shows good Cercospora tolerance – increasingly important in the UK.
These attributes, combined with excellent ESB and NSB figures, make BTS 5770 an attractive choice for growers looking for both security and good returns on investment.”
